Project Manager (R&D Department)

Functions & Responsibilities:

• Manage several teams at the short-/long-terms projects;
• Manage scope, schedule, quality, estimation of the projects;
• Manage Client expectations;
• Take part in a demo, status meetings with clients and developers;
• Prepare reports and documentation about the projects;
• Represent the company in front of customers, departments, and other parties as required;
• Participate in team members formal assessments.

Challenges & Advantages:

Usually (as the most of the projects are RnD), it’s not clear what approach to select for solving the tasks. New PM has to have – good organizational skills to organize optimal collaboration between senior and junior RnD team members – good technical intuition to make correct decisions and select most reasonable approaches

Technical Profile:

Required Skills (Must have):

• 3+ years of experience in PM, 9+ years of total experience in IT, preferable with BA or QA background;
• Deep understanding of project management processes and tools, as well as software development life cycle and methodologies;
• Experience with managing several development teams simultaneously;
• Strong skills in project planning and time estimation;
• Knowledge of different task-tracking systems;
• Good presentation skills would be a plus;
• Active and independent approach would be a plus.
