We are looking for an experienced AWS Solutions Architect to lead application modernization and design scalable microservices, integration, and serverless solutions. You’ll define architecture, technical standards, and development approaches while working closely with engineering teams.
Requirements:
- 7–10+ years in software/cloud architecture, 5+ of it AWS-specific;
- Demonstrated experience leading a legacy-to-cloud modernization or migration (ideally from an integration platform like MuleSoft to AWS-native services);
- Experience in Enterprise Integration patterns;
- Strong microservices architecture design skills (service boundaries, decomposition strategy);
- Hands-on with container/serverless compute choices — Lambda, Fargate, ECS — and knowing which fits which workload;
- Service-to-service networking design using VPC Lattice (or equivalent — service mesh, API Gateway-based routing);
- Practical experience with distributed data patterns — Saga, CQRS, eventual consistency — and knowing when to use which;
- Event-driven architecture design (EventBridge, SNS/SQS, or Kafka if in scope);
- Terraform-based IaC design (able to define the module/standards approach);
- API/data contract design — defining contracts that dev teams implement against;
- Ability to establish and drive a spec-driven development process across teams;
- Familiarity with how Gen AI–assisted development tools fit into the team’s workflow and how to set standards around their use;
- Ability to quickly adopt and work within client-specific methodologies, guidelines, IaC, and DevOps standards;
- Strong bonding and semi-independent work with Cloud dev or front-end dev.
Nice to have:
- AWS Solutions Architect – Professional certification;
- Direct MuleSoft-to-AWS-native migration experience specifically;
- Client-facing / stakeholder communication experience.
Our benefits:
- Professional and career growth promotion;
- Competitive salary;
- Paid vacations and sick leave;
- Internal Medical Program;
- Program for veterans;
- Flexible working hours;
- Regular corporate social activities;
- Regular technical training at our office;
