We’re looking for a proactive and reliable DevOps Engineer to join our team.
Project overview:
Leading global insurance corporation in the USA, specializing in solutions for PBM companies. This organization operates across 10 diverse departments, each focusing on a key aspect of the insurance industry: Insurance Reimbursements, Adjudication Process, Financial Operations, Pricing Analytics, Product Availability, and Quality checks.
Hard skills:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in DevOps role;
- Experience as a Cloud Systems Administrator, supporting Azure or cloud-based environments;
- Proficiency in managing Windows Server and Linux-based systems;
- Experience with Azure services such as VMs, Resource Groups, Azure Backup, Azure Files, Azure Disk Storage;
- Familiarity with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and/or other automation/scripting tools;
- Knowledge of identity and access management, including Azure AD, RBAC, and conditional access policies;
- Comfortable working with monitoring and alerting tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, etc.);
- Understanding of patch management, system hardening, and compliance requirements;
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking abilities;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- English level – intermediate.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux virtual machines and services in Azure;
- Perform routine system administration tasks, including patching, updates, and backups;
- Monitor system performance availability using Azure-native tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics;
- Assist in provisioning and configuring Azure resources such as VMs, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, and App Services;
- Automate operational processes using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting tools;
- Support role-based access control (RBAC), identity, and permissions across cloud environments;
- Collaborate closely with DevOps, Security, and Network teams to ensure reliable and secure system operations;
- Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and configuration records;
- Respond to incidents and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
